Introducing Rulesets: Save, Reuse, and Build Faster

TL;DR We've added Rulesets, a simple way to save any custom rule and reuse it instantly across your algos. Next to any rule or at the top of a list of rules, click the three dots → "Create Ruleset" and it's saved. When you want it, just select it from "My Rulesets" in the Rule Builder. Test users reported that this saves time, and reduces errors over rebuilding from scratch. Available now for all users.

Why Rulesets Matter

We're constantly iterating to make automated trading more accessible and efficient for retail traders; whether you're focused on equities, crypto, or both. Today, we're excited to announce Rulesets, a feature designed to give you greater flexibility and speed when building strategies.

Many successful strategies rely on recurring conditions. Like entering when an indicator crosses a threshold, closing at a specific return percentage, or restricting trades to certain times of day. Previously, you'd recreate these rules every time you started a new algo. Rulesets change that. Now you can:

- Save any rule you've built as a reusable Ruleset with two clicks.

- Add saved Rulesets into any new or existing algo instantly.

- Mix and match them with fresh custom rules to test hybrid strategies.

This promotes modularity: build once, reuse forever. It's especially powerful for testing variations (e.g., tweak one indicator while keeping your favorite time-based filters intact) or scaling ideas across multiple assets.

How to Use Rulesets (Step-by-Step)

  1. With any Algo open, and "Rules" selected (you are in the Rule Builder) create or edit a rule as usual.
  2. Click the three dots (...) next to the individual rule you want to save, or at the top of all the rules to collectively add them as a single Ruleset.
  3. Select Create Ruleset and give it a name (e.g., "Morning Momentum RSI > 70"). Then click Create Ruleset.
  4. Done! Your Ruleset is now saved under "My Rulesets."
  5. To reuse: Click the + to add a rule in any algo, click My Rulesets in the pop up → and click your saved Ruleset. It immediately adds it to your strategy.

Users testing this have reported building complex algos 50-60% faster by avoiding redundant setup. Whether you're a beginner refining simple ideas or an experienced trader iterating on multi-rule systems, Rulesets make iteration effortless. No coding, just smarter workflow.
